NorthernNations Cooperative Group is being built around a series of national-scale Indigenous economic platforms, which we refer to as Lodgepoles.
In many Indigenous traditions, the lodgepole is not merely a structural element. It is part of the framework that supports shelter, gathering, community, ceremony, and shared purpose. For NNC Group, the term reflects the role each business platform is intended to play in supporting a larger Indigenous-led economic house for Canada.
