Privacy Policy

NorthernNations Cooperative Group and its affiliates (“NNC Group,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting the privacy of individuals and complying with the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) of British Columbia and the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) of Canada, in each case as amended, replaced, or supplemented from time to time, including any successor private-sector privacy legislation.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, and protect personal information through our website, email communications, and other interactions with individuals. By using our services or submitting personal information, you consent to the practices described herein.

NNC Group and its affiliates is responsible for all personal information under our control. We have appointed a Privacy Officer responsible for compliance with this Privacy Policy and applicable privacy laws.

4. Purposes of Collection, Use, and Disclosure

We collect, use, and disclose personal information for purposes including, but not limited to:

  1. Responding to inquiries, requests, or communications
  2. Providing information about NNC Group’s Lodgepoles, projects, and platforms
  3. Facilitating partnership, participation, and engagement opportunities
  4. Website and service improvement
  5. Compliance with legal obligations or enforcement of rights

Commercial electronic messages are sent in accordance with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Such communications will include a mechanism allowing recipients to unsubscribe or withdraw consent at any time.

This website does not currently use cookies, analytics tools, or third-party tracking technologies. If we introduce any such technologies in the future, this Policy will be updated and, where required by applicable law, your consent will be obtained prior to their use.

Personal information may be stored or processed outside Canada where necessary for business operations. We take reasonable steps to ensure adequate safeguards are in place to protect personal information in accordance with PIPA and PIPEDA.

14. Disclosure to Third Parties

We may disclose personal information to third-party service providers that assist us in operating our business, including website hosting and IT services. We do not sell personal information to third parties.

15. Complaints and Challenging Compliance

Individuals may contact our Privacy Officer to raise concerns or complaints regarding our privacy practices. Complaints will be investigated and addressed in accordance with PIPA and PIPEDA.

It is prohibited to reproduce, republish, modify, copy, sell, transmit or distribute all or part of this document without the prior written consent of the Company.
